Capacity Building is an important aspect of
Human Resource Development. This is the first gap that needs to be addressed and
needed to handle the challenges that are likely to be faced in implementing
eGovernance Project in the state.
Department of Electronics and Information
Technology (DEITY), Government of India, under its National eGovernance Plan
(NeGP) have come up with Capacity Building Scheme to support the stakeholders in
implementation of various eGovernance Projects.
In Delhi, Delhi eGovernance Society (DeGS) has
been organizing various Capacity Development Programs for the employees of Delhi
Government and its Autonomous Organizations with the help of funds provided by
DEITY, GoI and its own funds.
